Re: Untouchables shipped
Mine also shipped today from Movietyme
Bargain at £11.99 with a voucher they sent me last week
There seem to have been a few dodgy HD DVD release dates recently (on all sites), I'm not complaining at getting a movie early but it would be good to have more accurate release dates in advance.

Gotta love those vouchers - used mine to order Face Off 2-Disc for £12.99.
I dont think anyone has the release dates wrong, these guys just ship early. You wouldnt be able to buy in a store or Amazon.com for a couple of weeks.

Yes could be but I've noticed they seem to be shipping even earlier than usual recently and some (like DVDWorldUSA in this case) then changing the release date on their site.
But like I said I'm not complaining

Re: Untouchables shipped
It arrived today
Lets hope Movietyme will continue sending all their pre-releases from the UK.

Re: Untouchables shipped
Ordered mine from Movietyme a few hours ago. Awesome film and all the actors shine in this. Been quite a while since I last saw this on Uk tv too. Refused to buy the DVD of it or I'd watch it too much and spoil good memories of this film.
Have to get the HD version though

Re: Untouchables shipped
This disc has an excellent transfer. The last time I watched Untouchables was on laserdisc, and on HD-DVD it's so good it's like watching the film for the first time. The sound is ***** but I've got no quibble with that, seeing as the film is entering its third decade. Well worth the sovs.

Re: Untouchables shipped
I'd read some of the reviews prior to watching the film and expected to be disappointed. However, I was surprised by how good the film looked.
Thumbs up to Paramount for a great transfer.

Re: Untouchables shipped
The movie wasn't on my to buy list but just having watched it on SKYHD I'd forgotten just how entertaining it is and the score is just beautiful.
Already used my £1 general purchase and £1 HD DVD Movietyme vouchers though
