HDMI and optical audio switch

Can anyone recommend a HDMI + optical audio switch please.

I only want to have one connection to my TV and that be HDMI and my surround sound system only has one optical connection. Yet I want to plug my Xbox 360, Sky HD, etc all in without having to mess around unplugging and plugging in cables, etc

Thanks

The 360 doesn't have HDMI though but Tim (of TMF) might have a better solution.

Hello Kramer

Good shout on the Octava HDS4A-UK - they work very well.

For folk with a mix of Analogue (3RCA) and Digital (HDMI) equipped Sources a VP (Video Processor) is required - Gefen have a new range of 'low cost' units available; see http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=4174

Re: HDMI and optical audio switch

I'm using the Thor switch, which does much the same - 4:1 HDMI and optical switching. Works fine with my Humax HDCI2000, Helios X5000 and an upscaling DVD player. Seemed to behave ok with the Evesham iPlayer when I was testing that too, but not used it with a Sky HD box.
