Pub

What could be more British than a pub? This is the Albion Arms in Chester, where I stopped for a very pleasant sandwich and ale last weekend.

Re: Pub

Love the WW1 theme of it, very British! In fact could you imagine a pub like that anywhere else in the world? Spot on theme for me

Re: Pub

Great capture lmccauley, and one of my favourites so far. Absolutely bang on theme too. I would have been tempted to crop out the person on the left but it isn't that distracting and doesn't really spoil what is a superb photo. Top stuff

Re: Pub

Nice shot and good exposure.

I can't help feeling the chairs and tables on the right are a little ditracting - maybe because I can't see all of them.

Still, nice interior shot - and it has flags.

Re: Pub

Looks like a proper pub to me

I think maybe a smaller aperture would have benefitted the shot as the chair in the foreground looks a little out of focus which to me is a little distracting. I'd have picked up the beer mat from off the floor too

On theme though definitely

Re: Pub

Very nice shot lmccauley, even without the union flags on the ceiling it shouts englishness, british pubs are not supposed to be the most tidy places so the beer mat on the floor actually adds to the shot.

The lower right chair does make the composition a little tricky, but without it the shot shot would look bland.

I like this one a lot
