Hi-fi and USB Hard drive (Question)

Hi guys, just got a quick question.

Going away to work next month in cyprus and i bought a hi-fi to take. The hi-fi has a headphone (think its phono) input on the back.

Was just wondering if i buy a USB hard drive is there any thing i could put between the hard drive and the hifi to allow the mp3's on the hard drive to play on the hifi? Like a interface which will have a usb input and a phono (headphone lead) output?

Thanks

Just get an MP3 player. It's easiest, and can be used portably too.

If your Hi Fi has a stereo RCA phono input, or a 3.5mm headphone input, then you can plug an MP3 player into it to play over your Hi fi speakers.

Get a Sonos system, although make sure the hard drive is a NAS drive and not just a cheapo USB drive.
