Need advice on buying a good mini hi-fi system

Hi,

I am pretty excited at the prospect of purchasing my first hi-fi system. Right now, I'm looking for a robust mini/micro hifi system. Of all the (good) brands I know of in India, I've shortlisted the following few systems;

1. Bose Wave music system. Pretty expensive and the sound quality doesn't really justify the price. But it is very compact and will fit in well with my small apartment (Around 375 pounds)

2. Onkyo CR-315 or CR-515. http://www.onkyoindia.com/products/index.htm
The CR-515 seems to be highly rated by AV mags. It's even cheaper than the Bose system and offers a lot of features. (280-310 pounds)

3. The usual Sony, JVC fare. http://www.sony.co.in/subcategorylis...arentcatid=244 ( 100-150 pounds)

What do you guys recommend? Are there any models I'm missing?
