Is The Sony Dav X1g Any Good?

I am looking to purchase a decent 2.1 home cinema system. Looked at the Denon s101 & s301 by my budget would not stretch to £800
I have seen the Sony DAV X1G in Currys for £350 does anyone have any comments on this system. I listened to it in the shop and it did sound good. I like the look of it because the speakers are only small.
