Sunday Afternoon BBQ

Hi all,

This is the first time I've entered the competition as I've only had my 400D since last Tuesday! I was going to go with the strawberrys and cream idea but that's already been taken I was at a family BBQ yesterday and spotted this picture by accident really, hope you like it

Camera: Canon EOS 400D Digital
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 52 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire
Date and Time (Original): 2007:06:17 17:29:28

The only change I've made is Auto levels and colour in CS2. Original image mailed to 'avfphotocomp@googlemail.com'

Cheers
Steve

Re: Sunday Afternoon BBQ

Funnily enough, my original idea was a bowl of strawberries and cream with rain in the background! On sunday morning it looked like i'd be able to get a shot in the rain after all but it then went and get sunny...very un-british!

Re: Sunday Afternoon BBQ

Yes indeed - that looks like many a barbie I've been to. Britishness rating 6/10 for me. A bit too close a crop - you've lost a bit of the plate and the glass, but being pedantic.

Re: Sunday Afternoon BBQ

Very British - would have been nice to see more food on the plate

Re: Sunday Afternoon BBQ

Thanks, with regards to the crop I would agree but can't take full responsibility for that...I think the last can of Coors was to blame!

As for the food....guess I was too slow taking the pic!
