Trooping The Colour.HD2006 not HD on Saturday
Last year the BBC showed Trooping The Colour on its HD channel(A superb programme to show off the advantages of HD programming.This years coverage-no HD coverage.Does anyone know the reasons why?

It was just after the launch of BBC HD trial, so maybe it was just a convenient technical test for an outise live event.

I have to say that it looked absolutely stunning in HD, one of the most technically impressive broadcasts i have seen on BBC HD, probably helped by the sunshine on the day
