I ordered "from hell" on oct 24th still waiting for it to be shipped,the web site says "on hand:29" which i presume to mean 29 copies in stock I've emailed twice but no reply,is this too long or what as postage from canada us going to mean about 3wks wait
don't think I'll be using them again

I ordered the Fight Club SE set a few weeks ago from them (really great price) and my order was "pending" for a week before they sent it.

I was starting to get a little ****ed off with them by then but when they did send it, it only took 2 days to get to me.

My AOTC is still "on hand". No reply to emails. Won't be using them again.

I've not found them too bad.
HAve ordered quite a bit of stuff.
Ususally takes a while for it to get here but price wise very goog.
AOTC pre-order was sent on the 1/11/02 and LOTR:EE on 5/11/02
Will see when I get them.

Still no sign of shipment after 2wks of being "on hand" I'll give them untill sat morn to reply to my emails or confirm shipment or I'll cancel the order.Needless to say good prices or not they are coming off my favourite list.

AOTC - received this morning from DVD Soon...well, at least one happy customer !

I originally ordered it with Panic Room, but later voided it. NOW that AOTC has been delivered I noticed they have credited my account. SO I have ordered Mr Deeds with the Credit.

I suppose the only downside there is that I had a long time to get my credit and is it was about 1-2 months ago when I ordered AOTC.

I was in a similar position. 3 single disk items where all on hand for 2 weeks before shipping last weekend.
I did contact them a few times during this time. They said delays were caused by the changes to their shipping policy as partial orders now ship as they come in stock, and they had a big backlog to clear.

They are too slow and unresponsive.. they never answer emails!


I ordered a few films.. emailed them to change the order and they never replyed.. I got the movies, but got stung by customs..

They are cheap but if they are out of stock they also seem to have real trouble getting stuff in (i,e anime dvds)

Will never use them again.. rather pay a bit more for a better service.

I've had these on order since the 23rd Oct. They are all in stock but my orders are still pending.

I have mailed them twice and both times got the standard reply

Dear Sir,

We are a little late on shipping right now because of the changes in our shipping policies. You can make sure that your order will ship as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I'm really p****d off.

Everyone should mail them to complain about the service especially as they take the money when you order.

When I click on the Abyss DVD which is still 'on hand' it shows it as 'Pre-Order' available feb 2003!!

I think I'm going to cancel this as I think they are changing the availability dates as it said available when I first ordered it.

This company is pulling a fast one I think AVOID.

Make sure you use the info@dvdsoon.com e-mail address and not the online form thingy.
You should get a reply within 1-2 days from their customer services manager Roseline Arseneault.

I've always had a reply so far.
