What Was This Weird Program?

I had left the TV on the other night( round about Tuesday) whilst on the net, and when I switched off there was the program on about midnight and a woman was introducing clips from horror, martial arts, sexy, films and a naked woman telling jokes ????

Sounds like OutThere. I can't remember her name but Iwould. There used to be a micro site for it on the Channel 5 web site.

Hi,

Yep, the programme was indeed "OutThere". It's basically a late-night clips show, introduced by a female character called "Eden" - real name Miss Anneka Svenska.

She airs really unusual, cool, bizarre, grotesque, horrifying, hilarious and downright odd clips from the kinds of culty films that the average cinema-goer doesn't know of or doesn't care for.

Basically, it's like the "Eurotrash" or "Mondo Macabro" of the movie world. Good late-night viewing, and this is the third series now!

I quite liked the naked lady telling the joke but at the end it said was a joke of the week, so I take she wont be on again . It showed The Howling IV , is it any good or like most horror sequels terrible.

I've seen OutThere on Channel Five and on Bravo I don't know who makes it but I assume Channel 5. Howling sequels are synonymous with turd IMO.

It's presented by Emily Booth now. She used to co-present "Bits" and appears in several low budget UK-made horror movies like Alex Chandon's Cradle of Fear and Pervirella, neither of which are any good but we won't hold that against Ms Booth. She was also in Nigel Wingrove's nunsploitation flick Sacred Flesh, which was a bit better than Chandon's crap films but not much.

She's far better looking than the oogly guys that put OutThere together and she's got a bit more personality than Anneka Svenska that used to present the show for the first couple of series. She looks great naked too (how she ends up in most of her films)

I saw the program on Bravo at weekend ant the person did not look as nice as the one I saw the other night, but then again she had gone overboard with the makeup which is a turn off so could have been the same.

jeez I knew she was nice but.... woww!! How the hell did I miss this entire series. Please, please repeat them Channel 5!!

You haven’t missed the whole series 3 with her on Ch5 as I have just been over to the site and saw the person who was telling the joke and she apparently was in the first one. I went further and tried to see the joke again but to see them you have to subscribe, but you can here a joke without the picture. The trouble as I was pointing out it was the program was not listed.
