PAL Speedup

Does this affect music DVD's as well or does it not matter because the picture is generally recorded to video rather than film?

Was going to get U2 Rattle and Hum for 8.99 but wondered whether I would be better going for the R1 version to get a more accurate soundtrack.

Have answered my own question, checked on Amazon and R2 is 95 mins vs. 98 mins R1. So R1 will sound more true to the CD.
