TOSLink Optical Cable - What one to go for?

I've discovered my sound system has an optical cable so I could buy a TOSLink optical cable to play on my PS3.

However, I'd like to know whether it matters if I spend money on an expensive cable or a cheap cable on eBay. Are there any noticeable differences? Is it really worth spending £40 on a cable when you could get it for £5?

I'd prefer to spend £10 max on the cable if I'm honest.
