Hello all,

Following my earlier "Shipping Now" thread, I would appreciate it if any customers from Movietyme could let me know if their Episode II DVD's arrived today (31/10) as promised.

I have used Movietyme on a couple of occasions, but found I was waiting quite a long time, for Episode II I chose The Disc Emporium who clearly state they may not be the cheapest, but certainly do deliver the goods promptly (13 days before street date!).

p.s. Have had a quick look at the disc, excellent extras & the image is just jaw-dropping!

Regards,

Bloyd

I've put my order in just now taking advantage of the guaranteed before 12pm next day delivery option.

Do you know:

a) Where is it being shipped from? The site seems to infer that it is USA.

b) How likely is it to turn up tomorrow?

Movietyme is US based. Orders ship from LA or Philadelphia so the liklyhood of your copy turning up tomorrow is remote....to say the least.

Harumph!

How can they put "Next Day [Before Noon] Delivery if ordered before 3:00pm" on the front page of their site then, with the price quoted in GBP?

ArghhhH!

Inoran,

When did you order your copy? And did you opt for "next day delivery before 12pm"?

They relay from within the UK and they have the discs sitting in the UK waiting to be shipped. Only way I can think of.

I made the order on.... the 19th of this month. I didn't use the next day delivery service, I'm not sure if they even had it set up then but I wouldn't have used it anyway.

According to their message board the first batch hit the UK yesterday (Wed) for delivery today. Because of the amount of orders they received they had to send another batch today for delivery tomorrow.

If you paid for the next day delivery then you will get it the next day because I think they use some sort of specialised courier service. If you don't then you should go to their message board on the site. The guy who runs the site seems to be good about dealing with problems and questions on there.

My copy turned up just now!

Now that's very impressive service indeed! Ok, I paid an extra £4 for it, but hey, who cares!

Now, unfortunately I'm at work, and going away Friday/Saturday, but I will try and watch some of it before leaving home.

:) :) :)
