I have just ordered a Tacima CS929 mains conditioner.

I have just ordered a Tacima CS929 mains conditioner.

According to the hifi mags this will improve the sound and picture.

Will I notice a difference? Has anyone else used this mains conditioner?

Re: I have just ordered a Tacima CS929 mains conditioner.

I have one and I have to say I was quite impressed. The first cd I tried with it was Lou Rhodes and found that it improved the clarity of vocals greatly and if I remember I had a big grin on my face

Since then I have bought a Russ Andrews silencer block which is a bit better but the improvement was much more subtle. Im still using the tacima for the tv ect and Im very happy with it.

The other thing I like about it is there are no switches, Im not a big fan of switches. This might be unjustified but I felt happier having a socket that had no switching too.

I had a similar experience with canti, although I find the improvements subtle and wonder whether some of it is wishful thinking!

Try searching / posting at the cables forum also

You I think it will vary a bit depending on the quality of your mains supply and the amount of interence from other devices.

I found that it made more of a difference in my parents house compared with my modern flat, saying that some of the wiring in these modern flats is shockingly poor

Thank you to you all. I am looking forward to hearing the difference on my Arcam AVR350.
