Hi, first time user of the forum and looking for some help.
Am currently rewiring a new build and customer is wanting me to run the cabling throughout the house for Sky HD before the walls are plasterboaded and finished, obviously i would like to get this right first time!
The basic set up is to have a plasma on the living room wall with dvd and skyhd in unit beneath, plus he also wants to have five more plasma tv's throughout the house all being able to watch skyhd.(via magic eyes?)

Would anyone be kind enough to give me advice on what cables i should have at each point to enable this?

If possible i would like to 'future' proof this set up as best as i can so any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I hope i've given enough information but please feel free to ask any relevent questions if i have not.

Thank you in advance

I would suggest you advise them to get the information, and then you install according to their specialists instructions. If you install anything wrong, and you got the information on a job like this it can be a pig to correct after the walls are boarded, especially with a fussy customer.

In your situation I would also suggest that you consider running Cat5 UTP cable for LAN use such that you can interconnect PCs/ routers anywhere in the house.
It won't be too long before most TVs have an RJ45 ethernet socket too.

These days for new install may as well run cat6 and be done with it ...
