where can i get a very short coax lead? (to join two tuners )

you know the kind of one i mean, i hope
goes from a standard rf out to a standard rf in, and is about 10cm long.

it is used to loop two tuners together in a pvr / pc.

i could use a standard coax flylead but that would be a little too long and messy

can someone tell me where to buy one, please. alternatively if you have one knocking around i can give you a few quid paypal for it.

thanks

Buy a standard flylead and also a normal IEC / Belling Lee coaxial connector of suitable gender.
Both should be available at Maplins, B & Q , Wilkinsons etc.
Then cut the flylead slightly longer than the length you require and put the new connector on it.

This is very simple to make-up - you can buy the necessary components from the likes of Maplin for a couple of quid and DIY. If you get really stuck PM me - I might be able to make something up for you if I get a mo.

It doesn't even require the use of a soldering iron - I reckon even my wife could do it.

If you do embark on this DIY Project (as Chris says it is easy peasy) I would suggest you make it a little longer sharp bends can damage coax.

Edit even my father in law connected an aerial plug once and he was totally useless. Mind you he rather defeated the purpose of the exercise by going to great lengths to connect the sheilding to the cable core.
