Gladiator In HD

Not out, no due day.

A Dreamworks title, so probably out on both formats should it be released soon

There's an article over on the French site DVDRama that reckons Universal will release Gladiator on HD-DVD this year (in France).

Not sure if Paramount got this when they bought Dreamworks or whether distribution (in the US) still stays with Universal. If Paramount got it then it will be a dual format release, otherwise its HD-DVD only.

Sony released a superbit version in Japan on DVD (but I believe their rights to distribute it there have now expired), so there is a chance a Blu Ray supporting company may have the rights to it somewhere in the world.
