Home Automation Courses

Hi guys,

Got really into home automation, gained some fantastic knowledge

was just wondering if you knew anywhere in the UK i could get a qualification or some training via online courses or if its not too far go to a school or college.

i dont really know where to start, i know CEDIA do training, but, i wondered if a home automation course was the wrong place to start, do i need to start from the basics of electrical engineering?

Thanks

Gaz

Re: Home Automation Courses

My opinion would be that studying IT or electrical engineering is beneficial for a good start in the industry.
Mostly though people have trade qualifications which are much easier to gain while working.

A+, CTS, PRINCE.

Where to start off I'd say depends if you want to lean towards the hands on, technical or management side.
