LG multiplayer...next month at £££!

It's going on sale here next month...

It will be priced at...£999!

It will be available from John Lewis and 'some other stores' initially...

It will be called the Super Multi-Blue...

Not all HD-DVD's features will be supported...but then you knew that already.

I couldn't possibly comment on whether any of the above is true

£999 In addition to not supporting HDi will it support the soon be to mandataory BD video profile 1.1 ?

Buy the XE1 and Samsung BDP1000 for £825. Full support of HD DVD HDi and Reon HQV based video processing in the Tosh.

The E1 and BDP1000 or PS3 is even less at £590-£639.

Wait till the Samsung Dual player comes out with true Dual format compatability

Or at least by then this player will be avaliable elsewhere at a decent price.

I guess dual format isn't going to end the format war anytime soon.
