if anybody missed this Martin Shaw led 1960's set cop show, it's on BBC HD tonight...starting in about an hour I believe.
I watched it last night in SD and it bloody good...

I watched it tonight and it was excellent. It took me a while to get used to Martin Shaw as a posh speaking older man (the last thing I think I saw him in was "The Professionals" lol), but he was great. I was half expecting to hear Phil Davis exclaim "Shake me up Judy" but he was suitably menacing and it was good to see that Richard Armitage is in fact a good actor, when he's not trying to play it tough in Robin Hood. Lee Ingleby was an actor I've not seen before but he played his role with suitable invention and gusto. Another excellent drama from the Beeb.
