Cant remember exact dates, King Kong on tonight as mentioned on another post. Also Hard Rain, A Simple Plan and 12 Monkeys all on over next few days... :thumbsup:

Recorded 'The Jackal' last night from BBCHD - very good PQ, Bruce Willis has never looked so good ..... :god:
shame that the audio was not DD 5.1 :mad:

Not sure what the audio was... think it was more than stereo though as my amy switched to PL which it never normally does?!?!

Yeah, mine was showing as PLII - the sound was very central though (if you know what I mean) and lacked a touch of realism as a result. When bullets were flying around, they weren't really going round the room.
Still, fair play to the BBC for putting these films on ..... look forward to some more.

I recorded it this Wednesday (6th June) and when it started my amp was showing Dolby Digital 5.1. I haven't watched it yet as I was planing on viewing via my projector this weekend. I did think that BBC HD website listed it as 'Stereo', I figured this was because it was broadcast on BBC3 at the same time, but my amp seems to disagree....must check it again as it was only the opening titles I saw. If it is this will be the only 2.35:1 HD film I have with DD5.1 sound, Pirates of the Carribean was shown in Stereo at Christmas...but the picture looked great.:thumbsup:
