Jvc camcorder Batteries

I have just bought a JVC GR-DVP1E through ebay, got it for a good price I think £540 I am delighted with it but would like help with the following quaestions:-
1. would like to know the best places to get additional batteries from.
2. Also I have seen an advert on ebay that can convert this camera to DV in is this truley possible?
3. I would like to be able to burn any footage onto CD for playing on a DVD player havent got a DVD burner but it must be possible to burn Video CDs?

I bought 2 batteries from a site called www.batcam.co.uk and they are brilliant. Not too expensive and fast delivery.
