You got a bargain.

Thanks for the reply, you sort of put my mind finally to rest, i have been looking and he bought an n70 fascia and is selling a different one now so i presume its his old one, everything seems to be tying up.

Don't think it was that much of a bargain considering 07 will be out soon, i just need it because i need to make a presentation and i want it to look so much better than everyone elses powerpoint ones.

You will simply love KEYNOTE !

It looks so good, don't forget to use your Apple remote to change your slides!

Powerpoint looks like it came out of the ARK!
(Maybe not that old, but I'm sure I saw a documentary where Jesus was using it!)

Believe me when you have to do a presentation after someone else who's used Powerpoint you certainly look very professional in comparison.

I'm sure iWork '07 will be improved, but not that much, and certainly not worth waiting for!

Enjoy it!:smashin:

Just echoing that statement - Keynote is superb. I do all my presentations for work using that now. PowerPoint really is dreadful when compared! The word processor isn't as good as MS Word though in my opinion. But Keynote more than makes up for it :)

Well it arrived today as described, ive been using it for nearly a month already as i had the trial.

The transition effects are unbelieveable, they look really proffesional compared to powerpint which made my presentaions look child-like and basic.

My only gripe is that i cant display them on the projector without buying the vga adaptor.

I dont like pages so i'll stick to neooffice until MS office 2008 comes out.

with Pages its 'horses for courses'
its agreat tool for invitations, flyers, party invites & newsletters.
But or the basics Word is better!
(but probably just 'cause i'm used to it!)

Luckily my mini came with a VGA adaptor, but they're cheap enough on eBay!
Just remember to set your resolution on each new project to 800x600.

KEYNOTE ROCKS!
