Question for any Firefox users out there about opening bookmarks in new tabs. I'm having difficulty on my new MBP by not having a "right-click" on the tackpad, and using the "ctrl" key is not working as a right-click on every option.
As an example, see the attachments below. The first one shows that when I have direct link in the bookmark toolbar, and I press ctrl and click, it brings up a menu option. This is good, just how the right-click on my old laptop worked.
However, on the 2nd pic, when I choose a link under one of the bookmark "folders", and I hold the ctrl button, and click, it opens up the link straight away in the current tab. I don't get a drop down menu option when I try to select a link when it's in a folder. Also, when I use any of the links, either in folders or direct in the Bookmarks drop down menu, ctrl+click also does not work, it does not bring down a drop down menu.
Is this just a limitation of Firefox on Mac I will have to live with, or am I missing something? Is the option to open an empty tab, and then click the link in the folder the only choice?
