View Full Version : Getting hold of Casino Royale early
Hi there,
I'm a huge Bond fan and really keen to get hold of a copy of Casino Royale asap. Official release date is Monday but I was wondering whether it would be quicker to buy from the high street or via mail order. If for example I order it from play.com is there any chance at all of it arriving on say Saturday? Is there amny guarantee it will arrive Monday or could I be waiting until the middle of next week to see it (in which case I'd rather just buy from Woolies or wherever)
I'd value your advice.

I think you have left it too late to get it online and on day of release. I haven't had anything on the day a DVD comes out for ages. When I did, I had pre-order over a week in advance.
I bet Tescos or another supermarket will do it £9.99 anyway for the first week and beat most if not all online deals.
I will be renting this film out.

Find out when it gets delivered to the shops. A friend of mine went into a game store, and bugged the hell out of the stuff until they sold him a copy of Pro Evo Soccer 6, days before it went on sale. Try to find a small store that wont really care about release dates, and bug the manager. Hope that helps.
Or wait till monday :) it wont kill you.
I have the blu ray copy from dvd pacific came a few days ago :smashin:

they usually deliver by the saturday before the release date

I think Saxon's only chance now is to get it on rental if he wants to watch it over the weekend.
