Guillermo del Toro Films - best versions?

Hey guys

Thinking of picking up both Cronos and The Devil's Backbone and was wondering what versions/regions were the best ones to pick up?

I've heard the R1 versions of both films are the better discs but the new del Toro Triple set appears to have new extras/transfers. Are these worth getting the triple set for? (Pan's Labyrinth isn't a factor - I'll be double dipping it)

Thanks!]

looks like the R1 SE is the one to go for for the devils backbone.
cant believe I ordered the R2 from play. looks like the worst. that'll teach me to buy in my lunch hour when I'm bored

Don't worry. Watched the region 2 version the night before last and picture and sound quality were fine. Excellent movie as well!
