Just got into divx/avi downloads and using VLC to play them. We find that the audio is often ahead of the video just enough to cause noticeable lack of lip-sync.
Does VLC have a lip-sync setting somewhere? There's loads of settings in there that I don't want to screw up!

I never have any lip sync issues in VLC. My mate however does when he has a few applications running. Try quitting any you have running before playing the video file. Also check that it isn't the file, as sometimes you do get the odd AVI that does have lip sync issues.

I'm sure it's in the file (who knows how the originator recorded and converted the original?). It's no big deal, but I just wondered if VLC has this ability?
