Hi Folks,

Quick question!

Does anyone know if you can control the Samsung (silver Box) from another room like sky does with the TV link system??

I've heard that the TV LINK + unit might work.

I'm putting a nice new telly in my bedroom and I want to be able to control it from the comfot of my cozy bed!!!

Cheers

The TVLink Plus works with my Samsung and V+ stb. Why do you think it doesn't work?

i think its just a matter of educating people. i have today been told by extendedplay.co.uk that the TV link will not work on a VM box as they do not recieve signals down the RF like sky does, most people just presume that the V+ is the same as the old cable boxes

The TV link will not work but the TV Link+ does. limegreenzx is using it!

Already told you that in the other thread on this subject. The one you started.

You're welcome, by the way. :god:

Thanks for the info!

Sorry for all the questions but i've just spend the last few days tracking out walls to hide cables for my fancy new tv and didn't want to go through all that for me to have to go into another room to change channel!!!

well, I am totally gutted today after finding out that you can use the RF output on the V+ box if you are using the Hi-def output.. really screwed my plans
