unfortunately, you can't use AV functions with MSN at the moment, I know there's a 3rd party messenger client that does support it, think it's called Fire, but when I tried it it was pretty unstable

I've heard that Adium is the one to go for.

As far as I'm concerned if you want stability yes. Hopefully, the next version of Microsoft Messenger will support AV properly although I'm not holding my breath. I'd also like to see ichat add support for msn but i'd not expect that any time soon (I know you can set it up via jabber but it's a bit pants.) If you do know anyone else with a mac, ichat video conferencing is excellent, no lag, full screen video etc. Unfortunately, I know only 2 people with a mac lol

I don't use it, but I'm told that SKYPE is fully compatible with all PC users and the mac internal camera.
(Someone jump on me if this is wrong!)

cheers

Yep, being using Mac Skype to any other Skype with full camera support. In fact the Mac camera and quality of call is better than my Windows PC.

Also used Skype Out from St Lucia to UK - very cheap, excellent call quality - and that was wireless too!
