Don't know about the others but I have Flightplan. Its ok'ish but I couldn't reccomend it to buy. A better alternative is Passenger 57 IMHO.

What do you think about Big Momma's House boxset for some comedy?
The descent - already got that.

Sleepy Hollow is a cool movie, if not a outright horror.

What about some good ol' zombie movies. Night Of The Living Dead is a classic!

If you want horror go for the original Japanese Ring film (don't bother with the crappy US remake)

I would recommend the US version of The Grudge, I found it very scary. I've seen both the theatrical and director's cut and I'm not sure which I prefer. I couldn't comment on the Japanese original version but since the Japanese versions of the ring and its sequel bored me but I'm reluctant to watch other Japanese language horror films.
I didn't like Sleepy Hollow, I haven't seen flight plan nor the House of Wax.

I Love Sleepy Hollow. Get the HD version if you can. Horror wise get Shutter or The Grudge. Saw III is great too.
I would get all of those except for House of Wax.
Flightplan was a decent enough thriller with some excellent parts in it.
Sleepy Hollow is a great film. Very stylish.
The Grudge was also a very good film, quite scary and decent enough to watch.
But House of Wax is just crap, I mean they didn't even put Elisha in a skimpy outfit, nor was there a 'chase whilst wearing bikini' scene. Shame on them! Plus it had that stupid Paris Hilton in it.

I have to say I enjoyed the cheesy House of Wax remake. You have to remember all these Dark Castle movies are remakes/reimagings of William Castles classic b-movies and should be viewed the same. Still I have to agree with Greg about Elisha's clothing. :p

I too rather enjoyed the House of Wax remake - also the other three on the list.
These aren't great movies but enjoyable nonetheless.
Sleepy Hollow probably my favourite of the four.
