heads up - MacBook Deals

I hope this is allowed....

Macwarehouse seem to have a deal on Macbooks at the moment.

The prices are from £499 + VAT, although you have to buy with something else

eg Macbook + £15 carry case

Please note: I have no association with Macwarehouse - just got an email from them as I've occasionally puchased from them

That'll be because they'll wanna flog the Core 2 duo's, I recommend gettinf Core 2 duo for cooler, faster chips, with full 64 bit processing (making full use of Leopard).

Re: heads up - MacBook Deals

I dunno.....core 2 Duo are the latest chips. I suppose Apple could be speed bumping them.

But these macbooks have 10.4.......I wonder if it's anything to do with the next one?

Some nice deals there. The Apple refurb site is always worth a look too.

Re: heads up - MacBook Deals

The Core Duo is still a very good processor - good prices.

Re: heads up - MacBook Deals

I'm sure when I first got it, I thought they were Core 2 Duo!

Oh well, still not a bad deal. My core duo is still doing fine.
