Any idea if it's actually carried on satellite and not just a Dutch terrestrial channel?

Found it

It's part of a digital package run by CANAL company.

Canal Digital

It's on ASTRA 1G at 19.2 degrees and uses both Mediaguard and Irdeto 1 encryption so a SKY digibox is useless.
You would have to realign your dish and then add a FTA digital reciever and then buy the CAMS and smartcards to access the service.

No idea if the service can be legally purchased for viewing in the UK.
