Re: CD192 versus CD192T .. Whats the difference?

In Canada I only see a listing for a CD192T currently. Is is that the CD192 is an older model or perhaps it is only sold in the US?

Is it safe to assume that the sound quality would be identical?

tks...

Re: CD192 versus CD192T .. Whats the difference?

There should be no such player as the CD192T.

A few years ago, arcem upgraded the display of their players. this enabled the introduction of CD text into their units. As it was not a complete change of electronics, they decided not to increment the model numbers, but to instead add the "T" suffix. Therefore creating the:

CD72T
CD82T
and
CD92T

Every model since then has included CD text from the outset, so they have not needed the "T". so we have had the:

CD73
CD93
and
CD192

People who are slightly less of an anorak then me, sometime add the "T" in things like eBay listings, Hense the confusion.

I hope this helps.

Bert

Thanks Shaggybert, The T was confusing, since I sometimes see it and other times it is not present.

Re: CD192 versus CD192T .. Whats the difference?

Sorry to hijack the thread a touch but I have a CD92, yet on some CD's it gives the full text readouts of artist/track? How much more detail would the CD92T give out? Slightly puzzled me ever since I got it.
