Pioneer NSDV88, Sony DAV S550, others

I need some advice here,

After trawling through all the AV mags, sites, etc, i am not sure which to go for.

I have a Sony KV36FS70 with DRC, and i am looking to get an all in one cinema kit job.

But which one?

I always thought that the Pioneer was best until i joined this forum, but have read so many complaints about it im no longer sure. what about the Sony S500 or S550? which would give the better picture with what i have? or.. are there any others?

I cannot go for seperates at the moment because space is an issue

But most importantly, which has the best sound?

Any help would be great.
