Widescreen on NTL

My daughter has NTL cable linked to a widescreen TV. Unfortunately, the picture is stretched on 16:9. It appears OK on 14:9.

I suspect that the NTL box is ouputting at 4:3 (she has recently changed from an old 4:3 TV) and needs to be chnged to 16:9.

Am I right, and if so, how does she change the setting on the NTL box (PACE).

Don't know if it is the same but on Telewest (sorry Virgin!) it is done through the setings menu off the TV Guide button.

Yeah, press the settings button, then select either Display or Video Settings (can't remember which one it is called), then you can select 16:9 in there...

Whilst you are at it, you might as well make sure that it the Video output is set to RGB! :smashin:
