Denon 2805 - no video output problem

Hi all:
I dont get any video output from my Denon 2805 receiver. I get a VIDEO OFF message on the Denon display. I have had this problem in the past and I traced it to Pure Direct mode of operation and somehow resolved it. I have this problem again and I don't remember what I did previously to fix it. Can someone help ?. Also, I am not sure how it goes into this mode all of a sudden. Last time this problem occured when someone sat on the remote and pressed a bunch of keys. Turning ON/OFF the PURE_DIRECT button on the remote does not help.

Thanks

Hi

Have you tried switching to another mode such as Dolby PLII? The 2805 doesn't appear to have a direct VIDEO ON/OFF button like some other Denon models that I can see.

Re: Denon 2805 - no video output problem

Is this the OSD of the amp or video you are passing though?

If it is the OSD take a look in the setup menu under Video you can turn the OSD off and on.

Worse case scenerio re-set the amp by holding Input and Analogue on the front panel while turning the amp on.
