Running FireDTV/FloppyDTV under Vista

Please use this thread to post all findings, queries and progress in running FireDTV/FloppyDTV as as tuner under Vista MCE.

I have just installed a FloppyDTV in my Vista Ultimate machine. Basic TV watching seems to work ok, and viewing encrypted channels ok, but my current problem is sorting out the channel list and EPG. Any pointers appreciated from anyone who has got Vista running with Sky UK successfully.

Re: Running FireDTV/FloppyDTV under Vista

I have a Hauppauge Nova-t-500 thats a dual DVB-T card and wondered if I would be able to one extra FireDTV/FloppyDTV to allow me to receive the Top-UpTv channels at the same time ??

p.s. where did you get yours from and how much was it ?

Not sure about running both together - I'm new to this game myself!

I got FloppyDTV and Trex CAM from www.firedtv.co.uk for £190.

Both these issues can be resolved. Please see my response in the 'other' thread.

Cheers,

Tony.
