Converting a VOB file to use as a pc screensaver

Hi chaps

As per the title - I have a short company animation which has been supplied as a DVD VOB file, but would like to convert this into a PC screensaver. Any ideas on the best way of achieving this ?

Cheers

One way is to convert the file into an MPG/AVI format, then convert this into a Flash Movie (FLV), plug a SWF player onto it, then convert that into the screensaver.

There should be enough free tools around for this process i would have thought.....!

However there would be a loss of quality.

You could try the Microsoft Video Screensaver which can be found in the downloads on their site. I would post a link, but being new here, I'm not sure if it's allowed.
