Are there legal means of downloading HD material from the web?

I see that a lot of people download HD material into their HTPCs for display on HD TVs. Are there any legal websites from where you can obtain this material or is it pretty much all bittorrents?

Thanks

Loads of legit HD content on Dave's Trailers and Microsoft HD Showcase.

Dave's Trailers : http://davestrailerpage.co.uk
Microsoft : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...o/hdvideo.aspx

other things around as well if you look hard enough.

And of-course you can buy the WMV-HD discs that you can play on your HTPC without the need for a HD-DVD or Blueray player....
