Looking for a Wireless Network Adapter (USB)

I originally found a Belkin, very cheap but I dismissed it after some critical customer reviews. I then set my heart on the Netgear WG111 USB Adapter, but I realised that Vista drivers were not released yet - and some were reporting problems with the Beta vista drivers.

So I'm under advice to just sit and wait until some decent ones are released. But I'm an impatient guy and need to setup a wireless network ASAP.

These are my requirements.

The wireless router will be 20m away, downstairs in the living room. I need a wireless adapter under £30.

I used a belkin USB the other day, picked up a decent signal and was VERY use to setup/use. I would recommend it, and may be getting one myself

Have you tried maybe putting a post in the Computer & Component Sales, Wants & Trades could be useful.

I once had a D-LINK usb adapter and it drove me nuts.

£42 rather than £30, Ethernet rather than USB, but much better and no driver problems..

For max speed and throughput buy the same brand as your Router. yes i know it shouldn't make a difference but in reality it does
