Some comment on Musical fidelity A3.2CR?

Would the musical fidelity A3.2CR pre/amp combo be a good partner to a pair of dynaudio 1.3SE? Main reason going for a pre/amp combo is to get more power in the low end, more attack in the bass and drums but I really dont want to sacrifice anything on the sound-stage level. At the moment the soundstage extends outside the speakers (which I find very suprising, how can it?) and if listening to a good record I have no problems with depth either, but this is my first proper amp (Primare I30 amp) and I don't know how good it is compared to other parts or if I should expect any major imporvements.

Re: Some comment on Musical fidelity A3.2CR?

While I'm not familiar with the Dynaudio 1.3 SE (a discontinued model, I presume as it is no longer on their web page) I've heard the MF with other Dynaudios and they generally sound quite sweet. The amp-speaker combination is fairly important and I wonder which you bought first - the Dynaudios or the Primare amp. The only way you are going to resolve this is by borrowing an MF (and other amps) and trial it in YOUR listening room - not the one at the shop.

Re: Some comment on Musical fidelity A3.2CR?

Bought the dynaudios first, used a pioneer multi-channel amp and people told me it was no good and got the primare from recommendations. That was a step-up, but still haven't listened to any other gears together with my speakers. That said, I'm very curious to how they can sound since I've heard that they really don't come to life until you power them with a good amp which can supply loads of current. Don't know if the primare rated peak current of 32A is reagarded as a lot, to me it is. And the MF is second hand, only posiblility is to bring my speakers to the person selling. Still wouldn't know how the MF compares to other makes, but if it's really good, why care?
