Replacement Lamp for Sagem Axium 50" HTD 501

Hi All

I am not sure if this is the correct Forum for this post - if not can someone point me in the right direction.

The lamp on my Sagem Axium 50" HTD 501 has expired and I have been trying to find a replacement. Despite only owning the TV since October 2004 I am finding it impossible to get a replacement bulb.

Does anyone know if the bulb - it is the RL1080A - is still available - or is the TV now obsolete.

Sagem - the manufacturer have been no help whatsoever.

I am currently looking at upgrading to a new system but would still be interested in getting a replacement bulb.

Any help appreciated
