Hi guys,

How do I get to see the operating temp of my CPU? Is it just a matter of software or do I need hardware as well ??

Cheers

Usually your BIOS will have a reading in the System Health section.

Or use Motherboard monitor 5 here

Make sure you RTFM! As there are loads of settings for different motherboards. MBM 5 is pretty good and I use it quite a bit for testing during stress loads as you can measure all kinds of stuff.

That's the one I was downloading when I was talking to you Taz.

Works really well. Very easy to change the settings so that you only see what you want to. You can even get it to email you if the temp gets too high etc.

Speedfan seems OK, too - with some motherboards it is apparently able to control fan speed, too.....
