Targa DPV-5200x Multi Region Hack needed

Just bought a Targa combined DVD/video player set to Region 2. I would like to make it multi-region and have tried unsuccessfully to convert the player using the following hack which I found on the web for a DP-5200x.

1. Open Disc Tray
2. Enter 9,7,3,5 (or 2,8,1,2)
3. Select Region (0 = multi region)

Can anyone else help with any other suggestions? Is there any significance to the commas placed between the numbers? Why not just put enter 9735, for instance, or is that a stupid question?

Thanks
Caralan

Re: Targa DPV-5200x Multi Region Hack needed

Thanks for speedy reply but this fix doesn't seem to work for me. Followed instructions but pressing 9735 on the remote does not bring up any menu on the screen Absolutely nothing at all happens. I am beginning to wonder whether the problem is caused by the fact that the player is not a stand-alone DVD player but is combined with a video player.
