signal booster uk

hi, i have an hdtv and because of a crap reception i need something like a signal booster or something i heard - so i can watch freeview/digital mode. what am i looking for?

is it called a mast head amp?

where can i find one? (uk)

will it work with any aerial?

The one I use is a Vision masthead amplifier with adjustable gain up to 20dB. However, an amplifier is the LAST thing you install. First make sure you have the correct outdoor aerial and fully-shielded cable. (Rubbish in = rubbish out).
