freeview boxes

Anyone viewing TV with a set top box, can you watch interactive programes on E4? E.G. when Big Brother was on.

Re: freeview boxes

Not tried it on E4 but it certainly worked for the interactive channels showing the tennis because I bought a Wharfedale Freeview box the other week from Argos specifically so that my wife could watch the tennis via BBC and "press red button"; this worked fine.

Re: freeview boxes

Thank you for that. I have found that the BBC etc works OK It seems only E4 there is problem. I only have Freeview built in to our TV so I was wondering if any set top box user has been more successful.

Re: freeview boxes

I think you'll find that the interactive operation on Freeview is mainly restricted to BBC and some ITV channels. Certainly where programmes like Big Brother or I'm a Celebrity etc are involved only satellites allow interaction.
