Exclamation Sagem Axium HD-56B & Samsung HD860 problems

Hi,

i have the Sagem Axium HD-56B & Samsung DVD-HD860. They are connected via a Monster HDMI cable & a Monster HDMI-DVI converter. Now i get a good picture with the DVD player set at DVI 576p (720x576) but at DVI 720p (1280x720) & DVI 1080i (1920x1080) i get thin blue & green lines flickering across the screen. Could someone please shed some light on this for me.

cheers,

lee...

This might not help, but I would check your connections to make sure they are properly secured. Even giving them a wiggle can make a difference for me.

Re: Sagem Axium HD-56B & Samsung HD860 problems

Hi.
I'm no expert in this field. I have a Panasonic S97, and I had a problem with interference when it was set to PAL (thin red lines). Changing it to NTSC got rid of it. But I also have an Oppo and that has never suffered with this. Could it be the player? Hope you sort it out.

P.S. Have you tried a DVI to HDMI lead, to cut out the converter?
