Sony Ericsson K800 camera flash?

Sorry if this is a bit of a dumb question but how do I activate the flash on my K800?

I have had the phone for a few months now and I have taken many photo's with it in all lighting conditions but the flash has never worked and needless to say the pics taken in low light and near darkness situations have been abysmal.

I have searched time and again through the manual and the K800's menu functions but can't find how to get it to work.

Am I missing something obvious or is the flash unit faulty?

Have you gone to the Flash settings and put it on ‘Auto’?

Go to ‘Camera menu’ --> Settings --> Flash --> Auto

If the flash icon isn’t there, check the following:

Go to ‘Camera menu’ --> Settings --> Scenes --> Auto

Much appreciated Tejstar and thank you, obviously when i checked the menus i should have scrolled up from the scenes menu. There above the landscape option was the auto option.

Glad you got it sorted! The K800i has one of the best cameras out there on a mobile phone and the flash just makes it even better!
