Just found this part of the forum, anyway I just got the Bowen Venom and Green Goblin the other day so here's a few shots. I just need to find somewhere suitable to store them now, I think Venom can stand on top of my display cabinet as that piece really benefits from being on eye level or above.

I also have a few other Marvel pieces including the Sideshow Venom Vs Spidey piece as shown above, Trial of Colossus DST piece, Sideshow Fantastic Four Exclusive Diorama, Bowen Spider-Man modern, Bowen Scorpion and the Bowen Rhino piece aswell as various busts and too many to count little lead partwork characters of Marvel/Lord of the Rings etc.

My largest Marvel piece is the Sideshow Juggernaut maquette which stands at 26" so he lives up to his name.

I've also got four new pieces on order which i'm waiting on, only two are Bowen though.

Bowen Hulk which is in transit

Bowen Lizard which i'll be lucky to see before 2008

After that i'm waiting for a decent sculpt of a few other characters Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Carnage, Sandman and Doc Ock. The latter three have never had a decent full-size statue made of them, apart from sub-standard DST sculpts that is.

Lara Croft by Varner, I love how they kept her based on the games and not some stupid Angelina Jolie doll with those fish lips.

Yes, buy it from the same guy I buy all my Marvel pieces, if you do tell him Cloysterpete sent you :rotfl:

His user id is billion-n-one and he currently has a Venom at $159.99 with a best offer option, he'll definately accept $150, probably $145. $159.99 plus $61 postage works out as $211 - make sure you request he marks down customs as below $35 and you'll pay £107.

Now and then he lists them at $0.99 starting bid, when he does this they usually end up at $130 - $140.

Thanks, although the last time I tried to buy something from eBay my bank blocked it without telling me and Paypal removed the bank account so I had to set it up again. Therefore I can't really buy stuff from eBay without already having the money in my paypal account. But £106 is very good value.

Thanks anyway.

EDIT: Just been looking through some of his stuff, some of it is really nice and the prices are decent as well. I like the Scarlet Spiderman Bowen Statue and the regular Spiderman one.

The Superman: Forever #1 (Clark ripping his shirt open) statue?

I've got this as well. IMHO the best Supes statue around.

How did you notice my posts over there?, I only made like two?. For months I thoughts I couldn't register because I didn't have a paid for email addy but I tried again and it worked, must have been some other place that needed a paid addy

Yeah I get about a bit, SF is the place for the earliest news on the next pieces and the only place where you can get comments from the head honcho himself - Randy Bowen. I'm stoked with the new poll he's placed to see which new Silver Surfer statue should be made, I hope I like the new Surfer action pose but even if I don't then it's still good because a new Surfer statue will bring the prices of the current Silver Surfer Chrome museum pose down to a level I can afford them because with all the movie hype you don't get much change from £350 atm.

Oh and I got my Bowen Hulk today:-

Hello I just wondered whether anyone had any good advice about selling some Bowen statues. I have had them on ebay twice, but people are watching but not buying. Does anyone know of someone that would want to buy them as a collection or any Ebaying top tips! We have Punisher, Dr Doom and Iron Man no boxes but have never been displayed and are all in very good condition. Thanks alot

Welcome, the reason could be that you have no boxes, for example a Punisher went recently for £50 with its box, collectors really like the boxes due to storage or resale value later, as these can be quite fragile when being shipped so you need to make sure they are properly packaged, are they full size?as the mini ones don't fetch that much anyway. Drop me a PM if you have a price in mind and I may be interested if thats ok with mods.
