Samsung SP50L7HX DLP Wii Console DELAY

Hi,

Does anybody have any idea (I allready checked the service menu) if you can change some option on this television so that there is no picture delay?

Normally, it doesn't matter that much. But with my new Nintendo Wii, the remote delay is not usable. It seems that the TV is projecting the picture quiet a bit later than I actually use the remote-control.
According to nintendo Wii forums, the wii does not have (or not noticeble) any lag in the communication, so it must be the TV.

Question to, can we change this TV from 50hz to 60hz? All NES and SNES virtual console games cannot be played properly in Europe because the PAL and NTSC hertz problem.

Thanks in advance,

Pinjo

Re: Samsung SP50L7HX DLP Wii Console DELAY

Does anybody have the same problems?

Also the NES and SNES games are having a terrible framrate (seems like 18fps or so) on my Samsung, while the N64 games are perfect...

I hope someone knows...

Re: Samsung SP50L7HX DLP Wii Console DELAY

Well,

I phoned Nintento, they said after long talking: can only be a hardware problem from the Wii. Send the Wii to us and we'll fix it.

I thought, NAH... Let's try something else. So I unplugged all cables and plugged them into another LCD tv and EVERYTHING WORKED fine! So my conclusion was, this samsung tv rocks very much, but the S-Video and Scart 1-3 do not work at all for the wii. There is a big lag (the time you swing your wii and when it actually apears on the screen) and the NES and SNES games are having a framerate like 18 fps... Not playable...

So there was only one idea left... Buy the Component WII cable, maybe that fixes the problem of the 50hz and 60hz (if that's the problem!)...

So finally I found the component cable in one shop, because they are sold out every minute...

AND

EVERYTHING works fine now!!!!!!!! 100%
No lag anymore, all games work just great, even the NES and SNES has the normal framerate now (like it should be)...

AND, the picture quality (of course) is really much much better.

So, for anyone having the similar problem with a HDTV and the nintendo Wii, BUY THE COMPONENT cable. I hope your tv has that option. It will fix it all!!!
